- Increased the geographic footprint of the agency across the Middle East:

 *Steered the opening of a full operational office in Riyadh in 2011 and in Jeddah in 2015
 *Led the establishment of the office in Erbil, Iraq in 2013
 *Headed the opening of the Dubai branch in 2003 and the Abu Dhabi branch in 2010
 *Took charge of setting-up the export department in 1991, targeting GCC and Levant countries
 *Managed the setting-up of an offshore company in Limassol, Cyprus in 1990
 *Led negotiations and appointment of distributors in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan and Syria

- On-boarded more than 20 renowned brands over a period of 10 years, including Siebin, Capfruit, Cesarin, Viva, Laita, Prefamac, Lubeca, …

- Oversaw several management activities and led business optimization initiatives:

 *Assessed the agency’s overall financial performance and took corrective actions accordingly
 *Defined annual budgets and managed agency’s cash flow
 *Handled relationship with partners and negotiated contractual terms (e.g. margins)
 *Assessed performance of brand portfolio and discontinued underperforming brands
 *Conducted hedging techniques to mitigate losses in foreign exchange
 *Managed personnel, administration and recruitment responsibilities

- Led a team of 20+ salesmen across multiple geographies. Key responsibilities:  *Developed the sales management organization structure and ensured the recruitment of the right caliber  *Developed and maintained an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company’s products and services across the region  *Set annual, quarterly and monthly sales and collection targets  *Managed and nurtured relationship with key customers across multiple countries  *Defined the agency’s credit policies in collaboration with customers’ Commercial Directors  *Organized participation in local and international exhibitions (e.g. HORECA Beirut, Gulf Food, ISM Koln, Interpack Dusseldorf, IBA Munich, Internorga Hamburg, Europain Paris, SIAL Paris, Sirha Lyon, FIE London)  *Monitored sales performance and activities of major competitors and developed necessary actions
