• To deal in a friendly and professional manner with all people who make contact with the Club reception desk whether in person, e-mail or by telephone call
• To be proficient in BARON, Microsoft Office and have a good ability to earn other computer software packages
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
• To have a high level of guest impact
• Take bookings for facilities over the telephone and in person.
• Contact customers on waiting list for courses and inform customers of any changes to classes as appropriate
• Process course enrolments ensuring customers are placed on the correct courses.
• To assist in the training of new staff
• To carry out regular checks for cleanliness in the reception area and Club
• To operate a proper hand over system between shifts
• To carry out any other duties as may be required to ensure the Club operations are properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction
• Keep the Spa & Leisure Manager and Supervisor informed of all current information in the Club
• To have an up to date knowledge of products and promotions within the Club
• Take ownership of customer queries and complaints in order to resolve them quickly
• Cash up at the end of every shift and take responsibility for any discrepancies
• Contact customers for confirmation of appointment a day before their treatments
• To sell and encourage customers to buy Spa & Leisure packages as needed to increase the sales of the Department
• Keep the co-staff specially therapist and instructors informed in any changes with the customer’s appointment or if their schedule needs to be changed
• To ensure that all facilities, machines, & saunas are ready before the opening time of the Club and to make sure that it is all switched off and in safe condition during closing time before you leave Sahara premises
