(A) Final Year Project Title: Design and Development of Drone for Spraying Pesticides in Agricultural Lands (1) Assembled a drone having a maximum payload capacity of 500 grams and capable of spraying pesticides on agricultural lands. (2) Performed the required thrust calculations for the quadcopter to ensure proper take-off and maximum payload capacity. (3) Equipped the assembled drone with a spraying system consisting of a 12 Volt DC water pump soldered to the bottom board of the drone and a pipe fitted with a nozzle. (4) Successfully calibrated and tested the drone. (B) Awards received: Awarded a certificate of merit and scholarship for achieving rank 1 among 123 students during the first year of engineering. Awarded a certificate of merit for achieving an overall rank of 3 out of 123 students during the final year of engineering.
