As an ESL teacher, I am tasked to do the following:
1. Prepare and present lesson plans, materials or programs to senior high school learners on a one-to-one or group setting
2. Source out appropriate references for instruction
3. Construct diagnostic tests appropriate to learners
4. Serve as an adviser to a class
5. Manage student behavior effectively
6. Deliver effective and efficient instruction
7. Advantageously assess learning outcomes
8. Positively communicate students’ academic performance
Other Duties and Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Coordinator
-Efficiently collate and present data from teachers in senior high school
-Lead senior high school teachers in organizing events/programs in the school
2. School Paper Adviser
-Select and manage potential student-writers
-Prepare lecture materials for student-writers’ training
-Publish paper-issues in a semestral basis
Sir/Ma'am: Good day. I am a graduate of a prestigious university in the Philippines, the Philippine Normal University in the year 2012 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education major in English. In this same university, I obtained my Master of Arts in Education degree with Specialization in English Language Teaching in 2017. Even before my graduation, I already got a job at the University of La Salette where I worked as an ESL Teacher for four straight years. At present, I am a Senior High School Teacher Teaching subjects like Oral Communication, 21st Century Literature and Practical Research. I am already in my 6th year of practicing my profession, enough for me to say I have fully mastered teaching the English Language with excellence. In connection, may I express my desire to be one of the thousands of foreign teachers around the world who have the desire of working abroad. I hope to get a response from you.
