Preparing monthly stock takes and valuations,
Keeping track of stock levels and ensuring all are within boundaries.
Resolving Purchase Requisitions and forwarding them for authorization,
Preparing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) giving out for approval,
Scanning and sending/emailing signed LPOs to relevant suppliers
Supplier follow up,
Supplier pre-qualification.
Planning work schedule
Inventory control duties and monthly stock takes,
Proper documentation of invoices and material controls,
Systems updates on material control systems and invoices,
Ensuring safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials,
Issuing of materials in required quantities against authorized requisition notes
Stores cleaning and maintaining,
Ensuring stores/deep freezers are in recommended temperatures for good storage
Studies in procurement and supply chain management principles, strategies, and practices, preparation for careers in purchasing, logistics, and supply chain management.
