Detailed Job Description:
•Ensure that all the QA / QC activities comply with the requirements of the Quality Procedures and Client specified requirements.
•Attend to all RFI (Request for Inspection) forms from Contractors and provide comments as necessary and signed off accordingly.
•Monitor all activities to see if all works are done according method and specification with particular attention to the construction program target schedule.
•Coordinating with clients’ inspector as per the schedule time of inspection and RFI processing.
•Preparing inspection and NDT reports and other relevant documents.
•Attending the NDT test according to approved ITP and verifies the inspection reports and validating the results.
•Monitoring of all the on-going welding works assigned to ensure that quality of works meets the required Welding/ procedure and applicable standard.
•Responsible for obtaining client approval of all works carried out and inspected based on the approved Inspection and Test Plan, Design and Drawings.
•Liaise and communicate with Contractors QC Inspectors and Engineers relating to changes/revisions on drawings and ensure that these are implemented on site.
•Provide technical and statutory advices on some of the piping/welding works.
•Monitoring of all the on-going activities of Piping fit-ups and updated welding report to ensure that quality of Works meets the required procedure.
