JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Responsible in handling Catering-PR Discrepancies and Flight Non Conformities on a daily basis.
•Inspecting and monitoring quality of in-process food production batches such as temperatures, consistencies, counts, weights, compliance with food quality control and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Ensuring cost-effective hygiene policies and implementing food safety management system based on principles of HACCP. (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Implementing and controlling the standards and specifications with appropriate monitoring procedures to ensure that the food production is safe.
• Checking and monitoring food equipment using organoleptic assessments, visual inspections, general observation checklists, bacteriological monitoring, quality assurance and hazard analysis techniques.
• Creating, documenting and monitoring the systems, food handling storage, packaging and delivery. Keeping and maintaining, record management systems for quality assurance records.
• Carrying out inspection audits, spot checking, procedural checking or using metal detectors and completing checklists.
• Maintaining the food safety policies: Personal hygiene, pest control, cleaning & disinfecting, preventing physical, chemical, and microbial contamination, staff training, waste disposal, temperature control, premises & equipment, checking and monitoring procedures for suppliers & materials from raw ingredients to finished goods, quality assurance including stock rotation.
