Working as a full-time Auditor and Finance Consultant for various clients of the firm. Leads in the preparation of Business Plans, Company Valuation and Financial Analysis projects.
Audit
• Plans financial audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations; identifying risk areas; preparing audit scope and objectives; preparing audit programs.
• Assesses compliance with financial regulations and controls by executing audit program steps; testing general ledger, account balances, balance sheets, income statements, and related financial statements; examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Assesses risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluating manual and automated financial processes; identifying process weaknesses and inefficiencies and operational issues.
• Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing and analyzing items and collateral to documentation.
• Completes audit work papers and memoranda by documenting audit tests and findings.
• Communicates audit progress and findings by providing information in status meetings; highlighting unresolved issues; reviewing working papers; preparing final audit reports.
• Supports external auditors by coordinating information requirements.
• Provides financial control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Finance
• Prepares feasibility studies, business plan, restructuring and company valuation reports of the Firm Clients.
o Provides support and insight into significant organizational changes.
o Constructforecastsandanalyticalmodels.
o Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes.
o Prepares reports and presentations for the Management.
o Studies and understands the business operations, internal control, organization
and overall processes by conducting interviews with the management, key
personnel and examining pertinent documents.
o Identify weaknesses and develops strategic recommendations to overcome such
weaknesses and ease productivity.
o Prepares reports and presentations to the management by putting together the
identified strengths, weaknesses and recommendations to help the company operate under stern internal control and adhere to the factors that will contribute to their efficiency and productivity.
o Analyzes business transactions and problems and prepares appropriate financial models.
o Analyzesmarkettrendsandissues, performvaluationanalysis, createreportsand determine new opportunities.
o Collectsbusinessdatafromdifferentsourcesandconductsbenchmarkanalysis. o Creates reports of findings, tables, charts and communicate business valuation
personnel regarding complex issues.
o Creates cash flow forecasts and analyses financial condition and profitability of
business.
o Handles due diligence engagements.
Tax and General Accounting
• Prepares tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports;
• Assesses and studies difficult tax issues to identify solutions;
• Manages and maintains the company’s tax database;
• Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal,
state, and local authorities;
• Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes;
• Prepare accurate quarterly tax reports;
• Files the Firm Client’s VAT return through the FTA portal.
• Prepares the Firm Client’s journal entries and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary
ledger;
