Dealing with patients daily and work out the nature and extent of vision problems and abnormalities by examining patients' eyes using specialised instruments, techniques and tests Keep abreast with emerging optometry technologies and treatment refraction treatment trends Assisting with orthoptics and other vision therapies for children and adults Perimetry Testing for patients Checking patients for all ranges of eye defects including diabetes, injuries, disorders of the visual system etc.. Providing help & advice and sight solutions to patients including prescription lenses / contact lenses • Communicating with patients and understanding their medical history before making a diagnosis • Perform other ophthalmic procedures as advised by the ophthalmologist
