Facilitates the Management of Change if required for changes in material, process or designs.
EIL representative on all project EHS Kick off meetings
Reviews and approves contractor submitted EHS submission plan inclusive of method statement, risk assessment and emergency response.
Conducts Terminal Safety Induction for contractors and EIL new joiners
Conducts the daily permit conference and permit site audit to ensure proper planning safety arrangements for major refurbishment works.
Organizes the monthly safety committee meetings (Contractors and EIL Safety Committee)
Conducts safety inspection and gas monitoring in all EIL terminals, jetties and berths before starting any hot work activity.
OPERATIONS EHS and Integrated Management System support
Periodically reviews and update the legal registry, environmental impact aspect and EIL departmental risk assessments.
Conducts area inspection inclusive of firefighting and emergency safety equipment, operational areas, tanker berth and terminal structures.
Maintains the EHS inventory inclusive of EIL staffs PPE, Gas monitors and Emergency Safety Equipment
Conducts investigation on all incidents and follows up on all pending action items for closure.
Assists in maintaining the EHS Department IMS documents
Maintains the Management of Change documents and advises coordinators for closures.
Assists the EHSSQ Manager (MR) during surveillance and re-certification Audits.
Provide advice on local health and safety issue inside the jobsite as per JAFZA TRAKHEES and Dubai Municipality standard.
Implemented Health and Safety policies and procedure inside the terminal.
Conducted Site Safety Induction and Safety trainings.
Attended the daily permit conference and weekly safety meetings.
Conducted safety inspection and gas monitoring in all EIL terminals, jetties and berths.
Inspected all heavy equipments entering the sites (cranes, forklifts, trucks and trailers)
Inspected all materials and equipment inside the terminal on a weekly or monthly basis as per EIL standards.
Reviewed contractor’s method statement and risk assessment for approval.
Audited contractors permit to work inside the terminal to ensure all safety procedures are complied on a daily basis.
Continuous atmospheric gas monitoring around the terminals during receiving and blending of the adjacent tanks during hot work activities of the contractors.
Assisted all contractors and sub-contractors safety officers on site related to EHS matters.
Participated in safety programs and activities of the terminal.

Provided advice on local health and safety issue inside the jobsite as per TRAKHEES and Dubai Municipality standard.
Reviewed all findings, comments, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions inside the terminals.
Issues, follow up, closing and monitoring of NCRs and CA-Pas.
Analyzed Incident/Accident reports and gives advice to fellow HSE personnel in other sites.
Given Safety quality trainings for safety personnel for enhancing their knowledge and skills.
Directly reports to the Managing Director as per organizational chart.
Performed risk identification and assessment for new sites, initiates and prepares toolbox talks to be given to the lead men/foremen for them to discuss before starting a project.
Performed regular jobsite inspections of all crews to identify any unsafe work practices and unsafe conditions, documenting the visits on observation forms and forwarding findings to various administrative and management personnel.
Provide safety measures for the teams and to strictly implement client/site rules and regulations.
Supervised (if necessary) the work in progress and addressed customer complaints immediately and efficiently.

Spearheads the trainings in providing vision and guidance to the cleaning technicians on HSE guidelines on the site, PPE and safe equipment operations/handling.
Responsible for arranging external (third party)training centers for the technician certification (confined space entry and water tank cleaning procedures)
