Processes engineering advisor and technical liaison for operations to review the projects of new facilities, improvements to existing facilities and updates to the complex's operating procedures.
In charge of the operation of large-scale installations for offshore NGL recovery and onshore LPG fractionation, directing 250 operators and engineers to optimize the NGL production of 50.000 BPD with the allocated budget.
In charge of the process improvements and the implementation of new gas compression and NGL recovery infrastructure, according to the requirements of the business plans and the evaluations of the facilities, directing 150 project engineers from different specialties.
Supervise the operation of gas handling facilities to guarantee deliveries of 3, 000 MMSCF/D (86 MM Std m3/d) in a safe and reliable manner to the different productive sectors according to the national regulatory requirements.
Responsible for making improvements and evaluating new technologies in the NGL recovery and LPG fractionation plants, as well as on-site support for the operations personnel in the management of the change and the risk assessment of the facilities.
Responsible for the annual performance testing program of the gas compression plants to identify in a timely manner the conditions that limit gas handling capacity and periodically evaluate the fuel gas conditioning systems to verify gas quality specifications required by the turbine manufacturers.
Experience in performance tests and thermodynamic analysis in the following models of equipment manufacturers:
Gas turbines: Solar York, Centaur 40, Mars 90, GE MS-5002 & Westinghouse W-101
Gas Generators: Rolls Royce RB-211 and GE LM-2500
Centrifugal compressors: Ingersoll Rand, Dresser Clark, Elliot and Nuovo Pignone.
Training Degree Program between PDVSA CIED and French Petroleum Institute. Promotion of 22 graduates in the specialties of gas and refinery, was ranked as graduate number 2 in the gas specialization promotion
Former Instituto Universitario Politécnico de Barquisimeto, Ranked 9th among 61 graduates in the all specialties promotion and ranked 1st among 17 graduates in the mechanical engineers promotion
