•As a Clinical Pathologist responsible for providing clinical pathology diagnostic services by performing tests in the area of: Haematology, Histopathology, cytology, clinical pathology, serology, &. Biochemistry.
•Analyze and interpret results from tests, Write pathology reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions.
•Examine microscopic samples to identify diseases or other abnormalities.
•Involved in development of comprehensive information systems and the maintenance of quality control and quality assurance procedures.
•Consulting with clients regarding interpretation of laboratory data, and maintaining client satisfaction by responding to client inquiries of testing procedures and results.
•Ensured economical use of the clinical laboratory, to enable the development of new testing and appropriate utilization of existing services, while maintaining a high quality of medical care.
•Handled the enormous volume of test information correctly attributed to each individual patient, and provide the correct ranges of normal values for each test in that laboratory, while maintaining patient confidentiality.
•Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.
•Explain procedures and discuss test results with patients.
•Consult with physicians about ordering and interpreting tests or providing treatments.
•Communicate pathologic findings to surgeons or other physicians.
•Obtain specimens by performing procedures such as fine need aspirations (FNAs) of superficial nodules.
