Scope:
The Head of Logistics Unit is responsible of overseeing, administering & monitoring the logistics
operational activities & cycles. Coordinate with unit team members, OMT agents, related
governmental institutions & other companies to ensure quality & efficiency of collection & delivery
processes
Key Responsibilities:
Direct, control & supervise the Logistics team, consisting of 12 officers in terms of tasks
execution, guidance, coaching, delegation, staff empowerment & performance management
Plan, prepare & launch new Services:
- Search and meet with new suppliers when necessary
- Maintain broad knowledge of OMT operational policies & procedures
- Prepare logistics plans to support all relevant operations and services
Develop Operational & Collection processes based on new logistics services opening.
Prepare and coordinate reports by services for management
Monitor OMT logistics cycles processes of collection and delivery, ensure customer
satisfaction and maintain accurate records of all transportation and logistics tools
Communicate the business unit’s needs and the required organizational changes to
management
Improve, recommend and seek for new solutions to solve recurrent problems
Control and manage stock inventories
Analyze performance of logistics activities, identify problem areas, and provide solutions
to prevent future problems
Assist the CFO in reports preparations
Handle letters correspondence (English & Arabic)
Bank transfers
Manage day-to-day tasks
Organize and conduct business meetings
Prepare and distribute minutes of meetings
Supervise Renovation projects at OMT & OMT bldg.
Coordinate and follow up with agents, suppliers, banks, lawyers, auditors
Supervise Bldg. Association Committee consisting of 6 staff
Manage personnel salaries and vacations
Monitor bldg. staff members performance: Time attendance, tasks, behavior, uniform
Supervise and control expenses .
Manage accounts of Bldg. Owners & tenants
Prepare Yearly Balance sheet & send quarterly letters of due payments by account (Shared
Cost & renovation dues)
Contribute to the decision-making process for major asset purchases and disposals related
to Bldg.
Handle Accounting of OMT Bldg.
Handle correspondence with Banks, Third parties & Suppliers.
Handle monthly Banks’ reconciliation
Prepare internal Memos.
Handle accounting of OMT building, White Land Foundation & Moutadaminoun
Organizations
Receive external phone calls.
File and organize vouchers & invoices.
Label and number box files electronically.
Sketch documents location maps & create new areas.
