Client: Borouge (Abu Dhabi Polymer Company)
Project Budget-$6.2 billion. Abu Dhabi Polymers Company Ltd., (Borouge) is a Joint Venture Company between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Borealis AG (BOREALIS). Complex consists of several process units based around a 1.5 MTPA Gas Cracker with flexibility of propane co-cracking facilities. The primary products from crackers will be Polymer Grade Ethylene, Polymer grade Propylene, Raw C4s and Pygas. The ethylene will feed two high density / linear low density polyethylene (HDPE / LLDPE) plants, butene-1 and hexene-1 plants. Ethane Cracker EU4 will process ethane and propane, to produce polymer grade ethylene product stream as well as other secondary streams. The Ethane Cracker Unit will include C4 Hydrogenation Units and steam production. The feedstocks are taken from ADNOC Gas.
Job Description:
• Responsible for Piping works- Underground & Aboveground for Ethane Cracker Unit, Hydrogeneration Area and Steam Production
• Aboveground Piping SCOPE- 1.2million inch dia (Fabrication & Field Welding) including the package/vendor pipe for VHP Boiler, Furnaces, Cracked Gas Compressor, Ethylene & Propylene & Hydrogen Compressor, Quench Towers, C3/C2 Splitters, Reactor and Dryer.
• Participating in regular on-site CONTRACTOR Progress Meeting, Advance Work Package (AWP) and interface meetings especially from fabrication Sub-CTR, IP Points (Interface) from other packages.
• Provide inputs and close working relationship with Sr. Planning/Scheduler and Construction Manager for planning of three weeks look ahead activity from CONTRACTOR related to piping construction job, in accordance with the overall planning schedule and providing possible bottleneck that will hindrance the progress.
• Monitor the contractor/ subcontractors construction manpower requirements and advise whether additional resources will be required to maintain schedule due to possible lack of progress, material delays or productivity issues and advise Construction Manager on any potential VARIATION to Scope of Work, which may generate cost or time impact.
• Participate in site HSE Walkthrough and Site Quality Audits and coordinate with EPC team to ensure compliance and close out.
• Reviewing, approval and comment on engineering deliverables such as Procedures, Technical Query (TQs) and construction deliverables such as MS (Method Of Statement), MAR (Material Approval Request) and Task Risk Assessment/JSA.
• Close monitoring on the System & Subsystem Priorities inline with the Commissioning team for the 1st Boiler Start-up and Energization of the Substation
• Participating in MC/RFC walk down and PSSR walk down with CONTRACTOR & END-USER and generate punch list.

Project Budget-$650 million- Project Worley- Abu Dhabi, Seconded/ Client representative to (Owner/ Operator- ADNOC
Onshore), ADNOC state owned Oil and Gas Company. Major Construction Activities of Civil Infrastructure, Structures,
Roads, Mechanical Equipment foundations, Structural Steel and Buildings activities which includes the main execution of
the Modifications to existing Central Degassing Station & Gatherings Station, as follows One (1) new Production Separator,
Two (2) Slug Catchers, Two (2) new Booster Pumps, Three (3) new MOL pumps, One (1) new Gas Injection Compressor
Train, One (1) new Gas Lift Compressor Train, One (1) Common Glycol Regeneration Unit, One (1) new Water Separation
Tank, One (1) new Water Disposal tank, Three (3) new Pig Traps: 1 Receiver (Oil), 3 Launchers (2 GL, 1 GI), Re-utilizing
existing MOL pumps as Disposal pumps, ITR Building, Overhead Line (OHL) including additional Seven (7) Crude Oil Well
PADS and Flowlines from 56 Wellheads.
Job Description:
• Responsible for Piping works- Underground & Aboveground in Brownfield Area-modification in CDS (Central Degassing
Station and Gathering Station)
• Aboveground Piping SCOPE- 950k inch dia (Fabrication & Field Weld) including the package/vendor pipe for the separator,
slug catcher, MOL, Compressor, Well pads and Flowlines
• Monitor the look ahead work plans to conformance with the overall schedules and Inform/ Alert the Construction Manager
to any slippage activities, delays versus contractual schedule base plan.
• Monitoring and managing inspection of the construction work performed by the EPC Contractor and/or its subcontractors
to verify that such work is performed in compliance with the approved procedures and specifications, and that the
workmanship is in accordance with appropriate standards of quality.
• Reviews construction sites and assists in obtaining the necessary work permits and work authorizations from ADNOC
Operations prior to commence the works executions, adherence by ADNOC standard procedures and HSE policies.
• Provide safety leadership to Contractor/ Sub-Contractor employees, to ensure implementation of health safety and
environment procedures and promote (ADNOC-LSR’s & 100%HSE).
• Responsible for Risk Management (Team Leader) to ensure all risks/opportunities are identified and appropriate controls
and mitigations developed and implemented and SIMOPS coordination.
• Reviewing material approval request (MAR), method statement (MS), As built, Mechanical Completion Dossier.

Project Scope
• Integration of a new power block with the existing power plant and supplying steam, power, and utilities to the
refinery. The integrated power plant can supply steam to the refinery from several heat-recovery steam generators.
(HRSGs), improving the availability and operational flexibility of the plant.
• Responsible for Piping works- Aboveground and mechanical equipment- Steam Boiler, Ductings, Pumps, Lube Oil

Project Scope
• Scope A: Modifications at Umm Shaif Process Plant (USP) Production Facilities at Das Island to process additional oil
production from NASR FFD which will be received at Das Island via 16” Main Oil Line
• Scope B: Installation of a new boiler (Boiler 9), installation of new utility substation, modification of Flares US-3A and US-4

Project Scope
• Detailed Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Borouge Iso-Container storage yard to ease container logistic and
to ensure safe handling of hazardous chemicals. The container yard consists of steel frame, covered roof, open side,
standard concrete paving and fire walls to segregate between different critical chemicals. Appropriate lightening and fire
and gas detectors will be provided. The chemicals stored in the container storage are: Isooctane, PAL, Hyper oil, VTMS,
HDTMS, Octadiene, Waste Oil, and Hexane ISO containers.

Operation (ADCO)
Project Scope
• SAS Full Field Development Plan to expand the existing gathering network and degassing plants in Sahil, Asab and Shah
Fields. Reservoir fluid is bulk dewatered, degassed, and partially stabilized crude oil that has been collected at both the
Remote Degassing Station (RDS-1) and the Central Degassing Station (CDS) both at Sahil for processing before being
transferred to the CDS at Asab for blending with various other field fluids and further processing. Recovered gas at Sahil is re
injected through injection wells to increase the reservoir pressure and enhance oil production of the fields.
