Received work assignment from the Foreman.
Prominently uses the measuring equipment’s like Vernier caliper, micrometer (inside, outsight), feeler gauge, dial gauge & depth gauge.
Overhauling of various Equipment’s is done by proper consideration of types of fits involve in the job and checking of clearances and decide the fits like clearance fit, interference fit, shrink fit and the tolerance allowed and make the necessary changes if not in proper standard .
Maintenance & overhauling of hydraulic & pneumatic equipment’s.
Assembling & dissembling of coupling gears, pumps & compressors.
Removing & fitting of all types of bearings. Antifriction and sliding bearings with proper allowance of the clearances in bearing housing and checking and conducting the preloading of the bearing.
Repair and replacement of rotating equipment in workshops by performing checks on pumps assemblies, face landings, joint landing and bearing housings dismantling, cleaning and replacing the worn out assemblies.
Replacing coupling parts, replacing oil / lip seals, packing, mechanical, seals checking and replacing shafts takes carefully measurements during inspections and repair.
Carrying out Alignment, rim and face alignment, reverse dial method.
Overhauling all kinds of pump, gear boxes, compressors etc.
Knowledge of safety rules & regulation as per our workshop.
Ensure that the requirements of the quality system are complied.
Overhauling of steel plant Equipment’s like Mold,
Bender, Segments & Rollers.
