Translation and/or Editing various relevant documents with high quality and within agreed deadlines.
Provide Interpretation services in meetings, workshops or any ad-hoc requests to relevant departments in the Delegation
Contribute to editing and proofreading various publications of the communication department and other ICRC departments.
Provide assistance for other employees on linguistic issues.
Create, maintain and follow-up on translation tools
Contribute to Internal Reporting
Translates all types of documents assigned by Content department.
• Provide full range of expert editing and translating services;
• Edit & translate a wide variety of texts (promotional material, product information, professional/ corporate communications, proposals, presentations, training materials, legal docs, etc.) pertaining to company’s activities;
• Assume responsibility for editing and proofreading English/Arabic material for printing and publishing;
• Manage projects and priorities, negotiate deadlines, build and maintain ongoing relationships with internal customers and external partners;
• Support internal customers by providing expert advice, and serve as go-to person for all questions related to translation projects (administrative and linguistic);
• Contribute to creating and enriching an in-house terminology database;
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements;
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience, ensuring that the information is current, accurate and structured appropriately.
