As a Head of IT & Projects following are my job responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Manage cross-functions teams. Focus teams on business objectives and track progress to ensure project milestones complete on time, on budget and with the desired results.
• Overall responsible for devising and implementing IT Policies.
• Fully responsible for all SDLC activities starting from discussion with the users in defining the requirement specification, architectural designing, prototype designing, development, testing and implementation of various projects.
• Strategic Planning, Supervision and Team development within IT Department.
• Leadership for multiple teams - Development, Infrastructure & Engineering, Governance.
• Staff resources management and workforce planning.
• Strategic supplier relationship management and contract management.
• Technical lead of development teams for different product areas.
• Responsible for SBS designed IT products and this includes development, operations, enhancements and client support.
• IT project disaster recovery plans and executing of SOPs.
• Responsible for multiple code hierarchy / branches for different client’s w.r.t Development, Testing, UAT and Production Release.
• Managing release management for SBS clients.
• Conduct / manage End user training.
Key Accomplishments
• Established the IT department with all of its functions (Applications, Operations, Infrastructure and Security).
• Automated most of the company’s processes by implementing various IT products i.e. Enterprise Content Management on SharePoint.
• Enhanced process efficiency by continuously coordinating with all stakeholders, business units and management.
• Established the company’s IT disaster recovery site.
• Virtualization technologies.
• Multiple IT Products for the company to rollout into GCC market.
• Initiated to configure Microsoft Team Foundation Sever with Project Server and SharePoint for the optimized and controlled IT Solution Delivery.
