Responsibilities
Spearhead activities at the Corporate IT PMO to provide program/ project management services for effectively implementing IT projects
Evaluate/ mitigate reported issues followed by risk analysis and preparing mitigation reports
Draft project, timesheet and capitalization reports based on project as well as operational requirements
Align interdependency between large and complex IT projects for optimizing resource/ cost utilization
Prepare/ implement budgets for maintaining project profitability
Set up & ensure compliance to Project Management Methodology within Corporate IT by standardizing policies, reporting and methodology for implementing projects
Work on Manage Enterprise Project Management and Reporting System
Liaise with end users/ operations team in managing operational transition and in completing assigned projects within project quality parameters
Interact with projects team leaders, members, customers, end users, vendors, suppliers and subcontractor for effectively communicating project requirements and maintaining project deliverables
Guide project managers in identifying and mitigating project risks for eliminating potential risk factors and performance bottlenecks across assigned projects
Collaborate with project managers from PMO and other divisions for implementing project reporting mechanism, collating and validating monthly progress updates
Organize training sessions for project managers across 4 regions (ME, NAM, EU & APAC) on PMO policy/ procedures and application usage
Assess investment proposals including quality assurance, cost, related approvals and project manager assignments
Involved in delivery/ management of enterprise collaborative business applications and services to 10, 000+ users and 500 offices globally
Interacted with existing clients/ prospects for collating/ evaluating requirements to align with project deliverables
Prepared responses to proposals, responses to RFP’s, EOI are from IT perspective. Guided the business development team in effectively closing critical business deals by providing qualitative technical inputs
Liaised with the product development team in implementing features/ enhancements to existing products based on collated market intelligence on competitor products and other market trends
