JOB ASSIGENMENT (Present) Trade Manager:
Presently, working as Trade Manager at MCB Bank Ltd, Shadman Branch, Lahore by handling Foreign Trade Business of Rs: 4.00 Billion annually, previously worked in MCB Nila Gumbad Main Branch, Duties include:
Import / Export:
• Competently providing active functional support for Letter of Credits; Opening, Amendment& Retirement under governance of UCP600.
• Issuance of Bank Registered Contract, Processing of Advance Payment Imports/Exports.
• Handling of Inland L/C, Discounting of Local Bills & Open A/C transactions.
• Providing information to Central Bank through ITRS, IFRS for Monthly Foreign Trade data and arrangement of FX Approvals through FX Portal & RAS System form FEOD.
• Handling of ERF Part I & Part II, Etc.
• Handling of DLTL Claims of Textile & Non-Textile Export customer.
• Handling of Bank internal audit & Compliance and SBP audit.
• Supervision of SWIFT messages for FCY collection of Cheques/DD's for entire Lahore branches.
FCY Operations:
• IFTT - Inward foreign telegraphic transfer
• OFBC - Outward foreign bill for collection
• Encashment of foreign currency cheques
• Outward foreign telegraphic transfer (FTT) & and Inward foreign bills for collection (Cheques-IFBC)
• Handling of Encashment certificates for remittances and encashment through cheques.
• Direct communication with treasury to obtain foreign exchange rates for import/export proceeds.
