Participated in incident investigations and reporting, including initial incident notification to project leadership
Engaged in in Contractor and Sub-contractor HSSE reviews and audits
Perform hazard evaluations on site including field and road related hazards
Training all new crew members and continually train & retrain the crew personnel
Construct all emergency response plans and perform safety inspections and audits
Handle medical and environmental incidents that occur on the crew level
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports..
Preparing deliveries for the van drivers
Provide input to the Leadership Team on HSE matters
Confirm that contractors effectively implement HSE Plans and conform to terms and conditions
Intervene and stop work for unsafe acts or conditions as needed
Monitors and checks the atmosphere for any gas leakage or oxygen exposure before any hot work to prevent explosion
Effectively communicate and interface with the Project HSSE Manager and Construction HSSE manager
Monitor performance of contractor's site management personnel to ensure alignment with contractor's internal HSE standards and HSE requirements
Assist in accident investigations, conduct follow up on near miss reports, unsafe acts & unsafe equipment
Daily site walk through i.e. observing unsafe acts and conditions, incl. field notes to HSE Engineers
Implement training courses for new recruits- safe working practice, scaffolding hazards, fire safety, safe aspect of evacuation and barricading, site housekeeping, safe storage, walkways, and escape route.
