Maintaining accurate inventory records: Make certain that inventory
records are kept up to date and accurate, and that inventory quantities
are reconciled on a regular basis.
● Regular physical inventory counts should be performed to ensure that
inventory quantities match the records and to identify any
discrepancies.
● Implementing inventory control systems: Implement and maintain
inventory control systems, such as barcoding and scanning systems,
to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
● Creating inventory reports: Create and distribute regular inventory
reports to management, such as inventory aging reports, stock turn
reports, and inventory value reports.
● Improving inventory processes: Continuously evaluate and improve
inventory processes to ensure that they are efficient, effective, and
meet the needs of the business.
● Inventory obsolescence is managed by identifying slow-moving and
obsolete items and implementing strategies to reduce or dispose of
these items.
● Ensure that inventory is stored securely and that access to inventory is
restricted to prevent theft or loss.
● Provide appropriate training to newly joined staff and verify their
progress.
Financial recording and reporting entails recording and analyzing financial
transactions, as well as preparing financial statements and reports manually
and using ERP software.
● Budgeting and forecasting: assist in the preparation of budgets, perform
cost analyses and prepare financial forecasts.
● Taxation entails preparing and filing tax returns as well as ensuring
compliance with tax laws and regulations.
● Auditing: assist in internal and external audits, as well as ensure the
accuracy and reliability of financial records.
● Accounts payable and receivable: manage accounts payable and receivable,
as well as process invoices and payments.
● Payroll: maintain payroll records, process payroll, and ensure labor law
compliance.
● Financial advice: provide financial advice and recommendations to
management and other stakeholders.
● Financial analysis: perform financial analysis, including trend analysis and
cost analysis.
Planning and monitoring: assist in developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and monitoring project progress.
Analysis: conduct research, data analysis, and provide recommendations to support project decisions.
Communication: assist in communicating project status, issues, and solutions to management.
