Nature of Work
1. Handling YANG MING Customer Service Desk for both Imports and Exports
2. Handle the communication/negotiate rates with Yang Ming pricing and accordingly quote the rates to Consignees importing cargoes on FOB basis and to the Shippers for their exports out of Doha
3. Maintaining an excellent liaison/relationship with Yang Ming Taipei and Dubai offices
4. Assist Management in submission of Tender bids for Q Companies(Qapco, Chem., Qatofin and Qatalum)
5. File the Tender approved Rates in Yang Ming Taipei system/Citrix
6. Follow up on Cargo arrival notifications/un-cleared Cargo
7. Handling all types of Customer enquiries(Freight, ETA, Free-time etc)
8. Sending Invoices to FOB customers and follow up for payment
9. Alert the Customers having DG cargo in advance so asto enable them to get port approval and get the approval scanned for Yang Ming Dubai office to facilitate loading of containers having DG cargoes.
10. Handling customer complaints and try find solution to their concern
11. Assist sales with leads/New Customers list
12. Preparation of various reports as required by Yang Ming Taipei and Dubai offices
13. Maintaining a tracking facility to enable documents to be updated easily.
14. Receiving and distributing all documents.
