Since I joined Golden Oasis in 2017, the company has transformed into a dynamic entity capable of managing AED 100 million in MEP work within just two years. This transformation has been made possible through initiatives such as adopting systematic process improvement, gaining ISO certification, introducing project management methodologies, training and developing the staff, improving Cross-functional collaboration, delegating responsibilities, and implementing worker welfare programs.

Achievements:
* Set up the entire team from zero to a strength of more than 300 workers and capable of executing AED100+ million of MEP jobs in less than six months
* Administered the complete operation of the company from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, Engineering, construction, space turnover and contract closeout with a profit and loss responsibility.
* Developed and successfully implemented Project management Systems and ISO Certification, which helped improve efficiency, saving time and cost for the organisation, and eventually improving profitability.
*Increased the revenue 3 times in less than 2 years

* Accountable for the company’s overall operations, and led the technical, tendering and procurement departments.
* Prepared budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed. Ensured the financial targets and other agreed targets are met in all departments.
* Managed the tendering team, prepared budgets, and ensured the project is completed within the budget and agreed schedule.
* Accountable for project procurement including turn-key sub-contractors and major equipment.
* Developed and monitored the plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs, Improved existing systems and policies.

Dubai Parks and Resorts, the AED 10.5 billion mega project is spread across 25 million square feet of land, a first-of-its-kind entertainment destination in the Middle East comprising 4 major theme parks

Achievements:
* Achieved an overall 8% to 10% cost saving on electrical systems by providing value engineering options, power system optimisation and material selection.
* Commissioned more than 100 transformers within record time to avail power supply to the entire project in coordination with local Authorities (DEWA).
* Administered the design and supervision consultants, MEP contractors, and ride vendors and successfully completed all MEP activities on time, within the desired quality standards and within the budget.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
** Design Management:
* Formulated preliminary MEP scope documentation, the list of design deliverables for each stage of design and ensured that is included as a part of RFP and/or contract documentation of design consultants.
* Explored and gathered stakeholder and end-user requirements, ensured that they were incorporated into the design.
* Ensured the design foresees and allowed MEP facility design inputs from third-party special systems vendors such as rides, shows, specialist lighting, water features, and operators' requirements.
* Developed and frequently updated the high-level power master plan strategy in line with the project phasing sequence.
* Reviewed design in each design stage and ensured the design deliverable are met as per the schedule.
Resolved technical issues through design reviews, and discussions with design consultants and other stakeholders.
* Liaised with utility companies and authorities to ensure their requirements are fulfilled and considered in the design.
** Project Controls & Procurement:
* Assisted and supported the project control team on the risks and opportunities, as well as risk mitigation procedures, associated with the Electrical / MEP disciplines.
* Close coordination with the project control team at each stage of the project to ensure the MEP tasks are completed as per the schedule and maintain the quality level.
* Assisted and advised the procurement team in packaging strategy and scope demarcation of each package for Electrical/MEP disciplines.
Prepared and established the interface matrix between the packages and ensure those are the part of RFP/Contract document.
* Conducted due diligence for discipline subcontractors and report to the delivery director.
Construction Management:
* Worked closely with delivery directors, procurement team and project control team to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to the quality of work, schedule performance or productivity.
* Guided and facilitated the direction of the MEP construction activities in conjunction with the project program.
* Assisted delivery Directors and cost consultants to manage budgets and financial expenditures associated with the Electrical / MEP part of the project.
* Coordinated with local authorities for all kinds of approvals until final connection, and follow-ups and ensured the timely commissioning of substations and reporting the same directly to CPO.
* Facilitated the smooth transition of projects to the Facility Management Team including training and close-out documents handover.

Major Achievements:
* Successfully convinced the top management of the benefits of having an in-house MEP team, took complete responsibility and develop it into a team of more than 400 workers. The execution of SZDLC proves that the decision was taken at on right time due to its technical and structural complexity.
* Efficiently executed SZDLC, one of the first LEED-Platinum / Estidama-Perl projects in the Abu Dhabi region and a technically challenging and complex project.
* Played a lead role in discussions with the Authorities (ADDC & RSB) for forming a regulation to connect the alternate power source (PV system) to the grid.
* Simultaneously managed 3 projects in Dubai Airport including Airport operations and crisis management Centre, well known for its challenges in coordination with different departments including Airport operations, Airport security and HSE.
* Honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the CEO of Strabag-Zublin for successfully handing over the project with excellent quality and augmenting the profit margin.
MEP ENGINEER - FACILITY MANAGEMENT
Sultan Khalifa Al Habtoor is one of the leading real estate companies in the UAE and
has properties valued above 2 billion in UAE and Oman. I was responsible for
managing the design consultants, and sub-contractors and was in-charge of the procurement
of major equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Invite tenders from subcontractors for major works, review and compare with the budget, selection of subcontractor and submit the same for final approval from Chairman.
•Review and approve the shop drawings, material submittals, method statements etc from subcontractors.
•Make sure the maintenance team and subcontractors are working as per the standards, and specifications, and following the safety standards.
•Preparations of work schedules, formats, and monitors the progress of work, resolve day-to-day problems.
•Organise, plan and execute the preventive maintenance of all the units to avoid major breakdowns.

• Multiple Projects in Dubai and Sharjah - Value AED 150 Million (MEP)
Started my career in UAE as an Electrical Design Engineer at the Al Ain Medical College
project, later moved to the site and supervised the construction activities. The
project gave me a good start to handling complex situations and mould me to take up
challenges in my future projects. later the management assigned me to handle the
Tawam Hospital project independently as MEP Project Engineer.
