• Managing IT operations under job responsibilities for enterprise management. IT built pragmatic policies, procedures & budget controls by evaluating alternatives. Developing and managing the relationship between IT and internal and external partners (business units, service providers).
Providing full IT support to the Power Users of the assigned business units in the definition of functional IT requirements.
Translates and details business requirements to IT requirements in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and IT Operations.
Follows up and supervises the selection of appropriate solutions.
SLA negotiations.
Managing all IT projects, shaping the initial project request, and provides a high-level estimate of the project effort and cost.
Ensures that the functional requirements are fully met by the solution.
Reports regularly back to Supervisor on the status of projects.
Coordinating with the internal technology team and a technology Vendors.
Taking care of the maintenance of all Lab PCs connected to the research instruments as these machines requires specialized skill in order to repair/upgrade the hardware/software failures.
Handling the purchase requests, relocation requests and return request through HP Open View Asset Center.
Taking care of Network upgrades and patching the network ports.
Forecasting for departments IT requirement.
Coordination with Asset Management, Helpdesk and other departments.
