Genie Civil HSE Supervisor
Ensuring that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies via briefings and training
• Conducting and oversee inspections of the environment, practices, and behaviors across sites.
• Conduct inspections of heavy equipment deployed at site and ensure safe for work and certified
• Approving contractors HSE plan, fire plan and emergency evacuation plan and witness tested and compliance
• Ensure risk assessments have been carried out for work activities
• Issue safety notice for unsafe work and follow through for immediate rectification
• Investigate and submit accident reports in liaison with other safety employees, which are required by regulatory agencies. Complete analysis of the causes and share associates preventative actions
• Issue safety notice for unsafe work and follow through for immediate rectification
• Oversee close out of all safety actions for investigations or inspections
• Inform and advise relevant Project lead any unsafe conditions or defects in plant or equipment
• Provide statistics of all accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences on site, with the view of making recommendation
• Complete safety audit report at site and issue to management
• Prepare and submit regular Health & Safety reports to clients
• Monitor the permit to work system
• Provide require training and refreshers for all employees on site
• Plan resource needs and escalate as required if there are resource requirements
• Review and make recommendations for policy and procedure updates
• Attend team meetings and project meetings
• Represent the organization in site safety groups and programs
• Experience in HSE onshore drilling and work over.
• Good working knowledge of the drilling and well servicing as HSE supervisor and trainer.
