Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver F&B service in accordance with departmental standards/procedures and as per related local laws.
• Interact with guests to solicit comments, check satisfaction in oder to exceed guest’s expectations.
• Ensure that all guests are greeted, seated courteously without delay at a properly set clean table and served promptly.
• Ensure sufficient quantities of crockery, cutlery, china and glassware is available prior to the service operation.
• Ensure that the flower arrangements are in good condition and maintain the same. Also ensure that the candle stands are clean, the telephone and music system is clean, the entrance area is clean and tidy, and that the restaurant smells fresh at all times.
• Take note of the menus including the daily specials.
• Examine reservation lists, checking for group bookings and getting the tables organized.
• Ensure that there is suitable music playing at all times in the Restaurant and at the correct volume.
• Seat the guests, explain menu and taking orders.
• Ensure orders are thoroughly checked before serving to the guest.
• Follow the set service standards while serving the guest.
• Assist the Supervisor and Colleagues at all times.
• Interact with guests in each of the outlets to solicit comments.
• Communicate with the Outlet Manager/ Supervisor any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information.
• Attend to all hotel trainings as required.
• Complying with all HR and Hotel policies and procedures.
• Actively use up selling techniques at every opportunity in order to maximize sales opportunities.
