• Assist the Engineering Supervisor in maintenance and care of all AV equipment
• Responsible for the business centre and engineering works this includes but not limited to
• Maintaining and operating Audio visual equipment (LCD, Projectors, microphone, amplifier, mixer, document camera video conferencing)
• To set up and check equipment for Banquets function based on daily issue of function sheets including removal and storage
• Inspects all function room daily and breakouts area and Servicing of interactive TV system for guest rooms and public areas
• Upload files to the video player as per the guideline
• Providing engineering support to Video Conferencing equipment perfuming daily checks, upgrading as planned and providing logistical support for large meetings
• Performs setups, tests, adjustments, operations and shutdowns of equipment in support of AV sessions, IPTV complete setup and support.
• Communicate and document accurate status of work in progress and complete with manager, team members and customers
• Provide escalation support and triage of various audio visual video provide user training of same
• Working knowledge of operating and maintaining DSPs, codec’s and cloud videoconferencing
• Perform analysis, diagnosis and resolution of end user issues and problems, escalating issues
• Resolves system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolation
Care of the user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations, offer technical support and troubleshoot any hardware and software problems related to system, server & storage devices and handle issues concerning application and database server operations.
• Installing configuring and maintaining systems and servers & networks;
• Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues;
• Creating a backup and safeguarding the date if there are any hindrances;
• Performing system upgrades following new releases;
• Maintaining internal documentation
• Performing account setup
• Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems; and
• Ensuring high-level security and efficiency resulting in 100% output.
