Responsibilities: Handling legal, regulatory, governance and compliance matters. Advising 8 large domestic and
overseas group companies in the Middle East, Europe, and North America through a team of 5 lawyers and 3
support staff. Oversight of local and international external counsel.
Selected Achievements: Successfully advised; (i) on the multi-billion Dollar gas allocation dispute between the
fertilizer sector and the Pakistan Government, (ii) the fertilizer industry association of Pakistan against proposed
Government controls, and (iii) on the anti-competitive behavior inquiry against the Pakistan fertilizer sector.
