Key Deliverables:

• Identifying gaps in the administrative and financial processes and recommending improvement measures to ensure adherence to the standard operating procedures, operational laws and instructions.
• Reviewing expenses monthly and comparing them with the budget as well as raising observations with the main administration and discussing its future plans.
• Championing best practice in governance and controls and identifying/assessing emerging risks and responses thereto; managing data collation by assessing and gathering data for central analysis and reporting.
• Conducting internal audit along with risk analysis, preparing and facilitating execution of audit plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives to identify gaps and recommend improvement measures.
• Eliciting information from internal/external sources to determine appropriate audit direction/methodology and resolving audit issues by developing vale added recommendations to mitigate the risks identified.
• Carrying out variance analysis to highlight actual or anticipated deviations and finalizing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, receivable statement, payable statement, party ledger and bank accounts.
• Conducting reviews, investigations related to fraud or irregularities, risk advisory work and other ad-hoc activity to report to the Audit Committee while enforcing stringent quality control procedures for the department’s audits.
• Preparing weekly KPI reports for management of working capital and weekly cash flow reports and engaging in reviewing the Balance Sheet account reconciliations in compliance with the policies and procedures.
• Producing numerous financial reports in compliance with the accounting framework and maintained accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and accounting records.

• Resolved vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers, developed strong relationships to build quality procurement strategies aligned to business requirements.
