• B.O.Q. ADJUSTMENT’S APPROVAL
monitoring (contractor /designer) submittals to comply with the project contract documents which cover the following tasks:
• Design and specification review and approval.
• Shop drawings review and approval.
• Contract conditions review using FEDIC silver book.
• Material submittals review and approval.
• Site inspection of the works as part of QC&QA procedure.
• On site Monitoring of the electrical works progress.
• B.O.Q. review and verification.
• Progress reports.
• Coordination meetings with the Client and contractor consultants.
Responsibilities as Partner and Technical Manager including but not limited to the following:
• Design review including electrical (drawings and calculations)
• Preparation of shop drawings.
• Preparation of electrical B.O.Q. based on approved project’s shop drawings.
• Preparation of as built drawing.
• Preparation of electrical submittals (shop drawings-design drawing and material submittals of the following electrical services: ( Light, Power, Air conditioning, Master TV&SAT system, addressable fire alarm system, Data and communication system, Public address system, lightning stroke protection system, CCTV System).
• Specification’s modification to suite site conditions.
• Pricing of the project electrical works items.
• Analyzing contract conditions that are compliant with FIDIC contracts and local jurisdiction authorities.
• Design and build of renewable energy systems utilizing solar and wind energy.
• Preparation of bids
Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for designing electrical systems for small and high rise buildings and hotels based on national, international & green buildings regulations and standards including ASHRAE 2004 v 2.2 for energy saving.
- Following up with the relevant authorities (JEA, CDD)/Jordan, (DEWA, SEWA, CDD and telecommunication company DUO)/ in United Arab Emirates to obtain approvals on the designs and attending the technical discussions with the authority’s engineers related to these designs.
- Preparation of the projects specification, B.O.Q’s, request for proposals RFP, organizing the project bids for the contractor’s.
- The design’s was based on (BS, CIBSI, TIA/EIA, NFPA, etc) standards and it includes but not limited to the following:
external and internal lighting service’s design in accordance to relative standards ( BS, CIBSI green buildings regulation) using DIALUX software,
Power system distribution inside building. Which includes (normal, emergency, UPS) distribution.
Low current system : telecommunication system, data and networking systems, CC TV system, master satellite and antenna system (MATV, SMATV, access door system, fire alarm system, master intercom system, voice evacuation system and public address system, background music system BGM, AUDIO/VIDEO distribution.

• Teaching theory of rewinding electrical machines (single phase & three phase & dc & control circuits).
• Technical adviser for electrical maintenance and installation.
• Responsible for Training of Trainers in rewinding and control of electrical machines.
• Training of AutoCAD Electrical Drawing.
• teaching students in electrical wiring section the following electrical courses:
1. Electronic circuits.
2. low voltage wiring system's
3. power systems analysis
4. Electrical design including light and load calculations.
5. Electrical machines.
6. Electrical distribution.
7. Electrical projects.
8. Alarm systems.
9. Electrical circuits analysis.
10. Supervisor on the student’s practical projects.
Sample of the projects student’s held using my ideas and under my supervision:
• Transforming a washing machine to work fully automatic with the facility to adjust the program so that it accomplishes DIFFERENT tasks USING (8085) MICROPROSESOR.
• Home automation: including lighting control, curtains control, activating home appliances remotely from another city or even another country. Including notifying the property owner that his facility is under violation actions where ever he is.
• Security systems:
- Protection for a painted drawing against burglary.
- Temperature control.
- Humidity control
• Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment’s. including juice new production lines
• Clean in place (CIP) Machines data entry.
• Analyzing (PLC) programs of production lines and troubleshooting electrical faults.
• Supervision on mechanical equipment’s functionality for example: Air conditioning systems, water cooling systems and water boilers systems including water heating using solar system.
• Supervision on production lines functionality including (tetra-pak) production lines.
• Product inspection as a quality control engineer including carrying the related tests according to (BS and/ VDE) standard’s for the different types of cables.
• Troubleshooting production machines
