• Provide technical expertise to the estimation department by vetting tender documents and formulating technical queries for competitive bids.
• Time schedule monitoring and update.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges through site investigations and development of innovative technical solutions.

• Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project quality.
• Interacting with the clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
• Performing quality control tasks on budget, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project’s status.
• Value engineering for the best possible cost.
• Supervise team members to give everyone a task and remain in the loop to ensure project is progressing as planned.
• Reviewing orders and specifications to identify technical cost options, comments, clarifications and exceptions.

• Reviewing the engineering task and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
• Ensuring the project compliance with the applicable codes, practices, performance standards, and specifications.
• Supervise draftsman in preparing Shop dwgs and As-builts.
• Direct and oversee projects at construction sites, resolving issues and ensuring that work is completed according to specifications.
• Supervise team members, and ensure goals are met every day of a project.
• Evaluated and resolved all project technical problems.

• Day to day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget and quality constraints.
• Ensuring timely management of any unforeseen delay.
• Plan and efficiently organize the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff
• Requisition all materials, and oversee the deliveries and ensure they are done so in adequate time in line with the construction programme and procurement schedule.
• Ensure site are following common operational standards.
• Maintain close relations with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager regarding cost control, waste management, variations and Confirmation of Instructions.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity related to projects on Gateway to enable traceability.

• Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the Company’s Policy and in compliance with OHSAS.
• Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for electrical works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction.
• Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan.
• Review material submittals as per project requirements.

• Supervise and train new Engineers and AutoCAD Operators in Electrical detailed design.
• Review & Check Project Requirements and Specifications.
• Coordinate the Electrical works with other MEP and Civil works.
• Clash review and rectification using 2D (AutoCAD & Draftsight) and/or 3D (SP3D & PDMS)
• Support and monitor the Electrical drawing work progress of Projects.
