- Monitor Maintain and administer applications systems and related computing
environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications
software, and all related configurations.
- Troubleshoots applications problems or systems failure involving infrastructure and
software to determine the causes (Root Cause Analysis) and possible solutions;
implements solutions to resolve problems.
- Develops systems specifications for the dimensioning of hardware or software used
in the systems deployment process.
- Support, Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect data,
software, and hardware.
- Ability to work on 24X7 Support model including shifts and on call duties.
- Undertake special projects/tasks and other duties as assigned by the company.
Key Duties:
- Applications users /permission Management (GUI, Terminal/ftp/ssh, DB)
- Application and services administration and Configuration.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and customer’s complaints (internal and external).
- Incidents and problems handling using specific incident management process as agreed with customer with specific SLA, also raising incident report including route cause and prevention action.
- Managing and implement systems and services changes throw change process with binder and change request ticket.
- Support, Plan and implement security measures in coordination with with network and security team, planning and solution team to protect customer’s software and hardware
- Monitor Applications and services through centreon.
- Generate reports
- Develops systems specifications to match with business needs.
- Systems and Services deployment
- Data and application backup and restoration
- Respond to technical queries
- Regular health check (weekly, daily, monthly, yearly)
- Ensure all CDRs that came from Ericson multi mediation node (EMM) are loaded successfully using sql loader and all revenue figures are normal.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Application monitoring
- Log archive and purge- Documentation (step by step procedures)
- Undertake any task/project assigned by company.
- Perform quarter audit include application, database and OS access.
- Work on 24X7 and on-call.
Application and Services under responsibilities:
- WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Remedy IT service management (ITSM)
- Zain Sudan Electronic Voucher System
- Customer Care Information System (SIM card registration system for Zain Sudan)
- Oracle APEX
- ERP revenue calculation from loading CDRs.

- WSO2 EBS capacity planning using sql loader and shell scripting.
- monitor WSO2 ESB middleware services using shell scripting and centreon
