Quality checking of scanned and post-processed images.
* Doing Optical Character Recognition by using Abby Fine Reader.
Mainly involved in scanning of Heritage Collection(Newspapers, Maps, Rare Books and
Manuscripts)
* Image processing of Scanned digital data it includes color correction, De-Skew, noise
reduction and cropping to maintain same dimensions by using Adobe Photoshop and
lighting room.
* In daily basis doing calibration of Eizo monitors based on the physical items.
* Installation of scanners (Zeutschel, Qidenus and i2S) software application and processing
applications like adobe Photoshop.
* Creating scanner color profiles by using color checker classic and SG.
* In daily basis scanning UTT (Universal test target) and checking with QM-Tool to make
sure that scanner is reaching Metamorfoze standards.
* Creating special boards to scan rare and fragile items and scanning in 90 and 120 degrees
to preserve the book original condition.
* In case of original Metadata not available then creating manual metadata based on the
original book.
* Capable to help in QC Phases if required.
* Meeting with the team and discussing issues and contributing ideas to solve the issues.
Checking quality of processed images and doing OCR post processed images using Abby
Fine Reader to convert them in to searchable PDF.
* Optimize image compression in Adobe Acrobat to achieve different resolution images for
Web display.

* Manage and assign tasks in the DIGIFLO workflow application.
* Operate and maintain professional Digitization Scanners - Microbox Book2Net,
Zeutschel and Atiz Scanner.
