• General oversight of inspectors’ daily activities including work assignments, on site performance, and guidance on the site performance, and guidance on the supervision of the Contractor’s operations.
• Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of infrastructure construction projects; monitor and coordinate work performed by architectural, engineering, and construction firms, as well as institutional, state, and local entities.
• Review of the Contractor’s joint measurement and testing requests and subsequent completed reports.
• Review and approve the Contractor’s Shop Drawings as delegated by the construction manager.
• Coordination with the Contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and method of work.
• Ensure that project operations are in compliance with design specifications and with Local Authority and Government policies and regulations.
• Continuous field inspections of the work in progress and consultation with both the Engineer’s and Contractor’s supervisory staff.
• Preparation of written and oral reports to the Construction Manager on contractual and procedural matters.
• Review of as-built drawings, in coordination with inspectors and surveyors
• Coordinate and co-operate with Client’s representative every time during inspection and site visit.
• Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing institutional operations.
• Liaise with clients and their representatives (engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
• Direct construction activities at project site.
• Review of Inspector’s daily reports and prepare engineer’s daily Diary.

• Check all work order items, drawing and quantities before commencement of work.
• Check and follow setting out, L.O.C of every work order.
• Coordinate and co-operate with Clients representative every time during inspection and site visit.
• Coordinate with Contractor’s Engineer regarding request routing, checking, testing and calculations for approved works.
• Liase with clients and their representatives (engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
- Review all applicable plans, drawing, specifications, amendments and submittals
- Review submittals for compliance with the specifications
- Maintain continuous inspection of all phases of the construction to ensure compliance with plans, specifications and submittals
- Review plans, shop drawing, specifications and submittals with construction personnel and subcontractors prior to the commencement of any phase of the work
- Prepare for and attend all the Preparatory Meetings, Initial and Follow up Inspections
- Maintain plans, drawings, submittals, daily reports and testing requirements
- Witness and document all test results
- Document all non-conforming conditions, item and/or workmanship
