Responsibilities as an English teacher:
o Teaching all language skills:
Vocabulary, Reading, Grammar, Writing, spelling
o Proper reply to coordinator's inquiries and timely achieving of different jobs assigned.
o Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
o Use relevant technology to support instruction.
o Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development.
o Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments.
o Provide appropriate feedback on work.
o Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
o Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
o Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying needs.
o Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws and regulations.
o Prepare required reports on students and activities.
o Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
o Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
o Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
o Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
o Develop syllabus breakdown, weekly plans, and daily lesson plans.
o Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
o Prepare classroom for class activities.
