- Participate in development, follow-up and implementation of engineering affairs policies of mechanical maintenance areas and ensure that implementation is in accordance with engineering specifications for the provision of spare parts, which are manufactured at the company's workshops at the specific date with no downtime of production departments.
- Develop required specifications and guarantees of tenders and follow-up subcontractors during the implementation.
- Coordinate and study engineering plans and direct researches and engineering studies that are necessary for workshops development.
-Supervise the workshops of sheet metal, welding, blacksmithing, center lathe machines and erections for the central company and branches.
-Develop and follow-up the plans of maintenance for the production lines and distribute it to internal and external workshops in order to ensure its implementation with the right way and at the right time.
-Develop plans for general and periodical maintenance for company’s machines.
-Study modern and advanced machinery and suggest machines alternatives substitution with maintain of production capacity.
-Follow-up supplying of machinery and spare parts and ensure that these compliance with the technical specifications.
-Daily Supervision of mechanical workshops departments and ensure that the Work is going according to plan.
-Prepare training courses to improve the mechanical workshops workers proficiency.
-Provide the mechanical workshops with health and safety tools for machines and workers.
Achievements
-Design, execution and installation of Lüdge powder mixer with a capacity of 6 m^3 per hour.
-Design, execution and installations of many steel structures trusses with areas of (30*30), (10*20), (20*25) and many small area trusses for many powder packaging machines.
-Supervision of the assembly and installation of the conveyor of Sulfur Micronizing Department.
-Supervision and execution of a completely annual maintenance of Sulfur Milling Machine (critical department of KZ company)
-Design of different types of gears such as spur, bevel, helical and spiral bevel gears and machine it by universal milling and hob machines.
-Convert all the technical drawings of mechanical parts of the mechanical workshops from free hand sketch into CAD 2d drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Softwares.
-Convert the universal milling machine into hob machine.
-Design, execution and installation of Big Bag Packaging System.
. Design of Steel fabricated products such as trusses, pipe lines, some of packing machines external body, metal gates, steel chimneys and any products related to steel fabrication for maintenance processes of any department of KZ company.
-Determine the suitable welding method, quality control and quality assurance for welding processes.
-Design different types of metal machining such as lathing, drilling, shaping and grinding operations.
-Determine the failure of any mechanical parts or mechanical system then re-manufacture it and assembly it again.
-Quality control and assurance for any metal machining and forming processes.
- Determine the monthly plan for mechanical parts operations at the mechanical workshop.
-Write a monthly technical report to determine the time and cost schedule using MS office Project Software.
Responsibilities
-Supervise the workshops of sheet metal, welding, blacksmithing, center lathe machines and steel structural installations.
- Ensure smooth planning and execution of work on time by strategizing techniques for effective utilization of manpower and equipments.
- Develop and follow-up the plans of structural segments of the projects in order to ensure its implementation with the right way and at the right time.
--Follow-up supplying of steel structural segments to the sites and ensure that these compliance with the technical specifications.
-Prepare a monthly technical report to determine the time and cost schedule of the projects.
-Quality control and assurance for any steel fabrication, welding and machining process.
Achievements
A. Implementation of Steel Bridge Truss For Crossing Double Pipe Lines 1500 & 1000 mm(Egypt, Alexandria, Al-Amiriya) with the following project job description:
1. Studying all the technical drawings of the project design.
2. Determine the amount of steel which fabricated into different steel segments (beams, plates, bracing, bolts, nuts and washers).
3. Responsible for sheet metal cutting and its assembly into beams.
4. Responsible for the dimensions of plates holes, beams holes, bracing holes to achieve exact assembly.
5. Welding quality control and quality assurance for all steel segments.
6. Use an advanced welding technology (Submerged technology) to weld the long steel beams and design a suitable support to carry the beam during welding process.
7. Responsible for the transportation of all bridge segments to the erection site.
8. Site engineer for assembly of bridge steel segments into 6 trusses then carry them by 4 winches (200 ton per winch) then assembly the trusses by bolts and nuts.
9. Responsible for the civil works to determine the exact level of the bridge during every step of erection.
B. Implementation of Manufacturing & Erecting of three Pipe Lines for Pumping Water to Somokhrat Village, Damanhour City with the almost similar to the previous job description.
C. Implementations of Manufacturing & Erecting of steel structure truss (30 m*30 m) area with height of 7 m.

-Quality Control of fiberglass tanks, plastic films and fiberglass pools manufacturing.
In case of liquid storage tank has been designed regardless of international standards and there is little interest with its operating conditions, it may lead to fully or partially failure. This paper has studied a failure of Toluene storage tanks with different capacities. Toluene is a liquid aromatic hydrocarbon C7H8 which is toxic, flammable and may cause boiled liquid expanded vapor ex- plosions (BLEVE). Failure analysis was performed to determine the root causes of toluene storage tank failure as well as corrosion influence. Axisymmetric finite Element analysis (FEA) was performed for fillet welding of tank roof and top shell zone to develop a relation between weld electrode size and tank diameter at each type of weld electrode to determine the main framework of roof to top shell welding process. Also, to develop a relation between tank diameter and maximum stresses that resulted at every amount of vapor pressure according to maximum von- Mises stress theory. The optimum roof to top shell welding size is obtained through the cir- cumference welding path.
