• Plan, assign and manage the accounting activities
• Preparing financial budgets for bank financing
• Implementing SAP system with various integrated department
• Reporting all financial reporting and presentations to management
• Plan, assign and manage the end-to-end accounting activities (cash receipts and disbursement, purchase and payable, revenue and receivable, payroll, financial statement closing process, etc.)
• Supervise the accounting team in the performance of the daily finance and accounting activities
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying supporting documents prior to recording to the accounting system
• Analyze the accounting data, summarize, prepare, and provide the financial reports to the management
• Monitor the daily cash flows, submit periodic bank position, and advise the Director of finance of the cash requirement.
• Maintain controls by ensuring adherence to company's policies and procedures
• Ensure effective and efficient financial management by collaborating in the development of training program by providing direct training in financial matters Finance employees at managerial level.
• Review and recommend improvement to the company's policies and procedures and accounting systems.
• Prepare the financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements by studying new tax or legal legislations, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Provide the necessary support and advise involving finance matters to the Director of finance
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, bankers, lawyers, etc
• Liaise with the external auditors for the audit of the financial statements and tax compliance requirements
• Reporting accounts payable to the director of finance
• Analyzing work progress to cost booked & retention held for contractors
• Reviewing financial & contractual obligations for subcontracts prior payment release
• Reconciliation of all payable accounts prior releasing payments
• Review and recommend improvement to the company's policies and procedures and accounting systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain accounting and financial internal control systems in order to provide appropriate level of security over the company resource and operations.
• Supervise the accountants in the performance of the daily finance and accounting activities
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying supporting documents prior to recording to the accounting system
• Responsible for two other Joint ventures (Imar-Alec & QIT IMAR-ALEC which is under liquidation)
