1. Assessment of foundations for static/ dynamic equipments, process and seawater concrete sumps, pavement and slabs, steel structures, fireproofing, grating, industrial platforms, open and underground drainage systems, secondary containments and HDPE liner systems (inspection and installation)
2. Expert hands on repair methodology, material selection and quality control
3. Technical studies for upgradation and revamp projects
4. Developing time based strategy for various functional locations within the plant facilities and conducting planned inspection surveys including underground surveys using GRP technology (Ground Penetrating radar) and underground contouring
5. Surveying and benchmark establishment/ calibration for new and existing facilities
6. Assisting in QRA studies with process discipline for blast resistance safety for plant facility and risk management
7. Quality compliance for projects inside the plant both site and mega projects
8. Internal audit for SHEMS procedures implementation and documentation
9. Development of inspection standards and procedures and time based strategy for functional groups of the facility.
10. Resolving environmental and legal issues with governing body
11. Attending Run & maintain meetings and solving day-to-day issues in civil domain through notifications
12. Assisting PD&C department for scope development and inspection for project activities
13. Experienced with HCIS standards and requirement for security requirements
14. Technical evaluations of proposals from contractor for various civil jobs
15. Issuance of excavation certificates ensuring SHEM requirements are complied with

As an additional assignment, I served as discipline engineer on mega project POM (Polyoxymethylene) handling independently scope management in the light of international/ SABIC standards along with coordinating with other disciplines.
1. Scope management, engineering quality and controlling project deliverables
2. Coordination for HCIS & Royal Commission approval/ requirements and supporting project Interface section
3. Managing top supervision for constructional issues and field changes to ensure quality
4. Endorsing construction completion, mechanical completion and managing punch lists for turn over systems
5. Supporting Commissioning and pre-commissioning activities of the plant start-up along with preparation of PAP (permit Application Package)
6. Design review for all plant civil/ structural components as follows but now limited to;
a. Blast resistant control building
b. Sub-stations
c. Cooling tower structure
d. Compounding/ polymer/ Monomer steel structures
e. Equipment foundations (static/ dynamic/ tank foundations)
f. Silos structural requirement and truck loading facilities
g. Buffer tank secondary containments and local body requirements (RC)
h. Verifying the civil/ structural requirements as per project requisitions
i. Manholes and concrete sumps for process, fire and oily waste water
j. Quality review for concrete, steel and fireproofing works
k. Reviewing requirements for security fencing in line with HCIS
l. Participating construction completion walkthroughs, commissioning, pre-commissioning and AS BUILT drawings review
