o Preparation of RCA (Root Cause Analyses) in case of failure and damage
Managing procurement process, identifying the vendors and procuring the materials
Providing support to Manufacturing Engineers in creating routers, harness coding and assembly instructions
Generating FAI reports as per customer requirements
Carrying out quality inspections on finished products
Heading tasks like tools and equipment setup, maintenance & calibration and crimp pull tests
Liaising with external test facility and certification agencies
Responsible for:
o Prioritizing maintenance activities; ensuring all equipment within the facility are maintained and serviced to an acceptable standard in timely and safe manner
o Implementing 5S at work environment
o Developing, building, modifying, troubleshooting and very testers for shop use
Looking after integration of HSE (Health Safety and Environment) considerations, including identifying and controlling risks and impacts into our business decisions, plans and operations

Reads instructions, like work orders, diagrams plus wire lists to define materials needed sequence of assembly
Selects wires of specified color, marking, or length and additionally loops wires between guide pegs on harness board, following color-coded lines or sequential numbers on board or diagram;
Wraps ties wires together at designated points to form harness, manually or using tie-wrap gun;
Apply sealing liquid to secure knots in ties, using brush;
Attach ends of wires to components, plugs, or terminal strip, using soldering iron or crimping device;
Insert cable in plastic tubing or inject plastic sealant around terminals to protect cable from dust moisture;
Test wiring continuity, using continuity tester; May mark identifying data on completed harness..
