• Liaise with the Terminal Planner to plan the vessel as per the proposed Colombo Outbound Plan.
• On completion of loading, update the computer systems and download vessel’s Bay Plan top respective parties and subsequent reporting.
• Planning on the basis of last port ETD, update the terminal on vessel ETA/ETD draft and workable number of cranes/moves.
• Once the TDR is finalized and transmitted to the terminal, liaise with the Terminal Planner to prepare the crane sequence couple with loading sequence to avoid gantry clashes to maximize productivity.
• Liaise & assist Terminal Planner for the Outbound Load Plan to achieve higher productivity by identifying yard stack, transfer crane travelling, etc.

SHIP PLANNING EXPERIENCE:
1.) Under YML (Liner Carrier)

• Basis final space allocation, obtain stowage out line for Colombo Outbound from the

2.) Under BTL (Feeder Operator)
• Down loading of Inbound EDI Plan and TDR and liaising with Line Manager for Colombo
Outbound Stowage Plan for: o Port-wise stowage as per booking forecast mad by agents
o Dangerous cargo segregations
o Reefer cargo stowage
o Out-of-Gauge stowage
o Re-stow stowage, etc.
• Liaise with the agents for final booking list versus cargo/containers received up to the cut-off time.
• Analysis of back loading space versus cargo received for loading, considering maximum
crane intensity providing the maximum/best stowage for stability/higher productivity.
• Dispatch proposed plan to the Line Manager for his acceptance.
• Basis his acceptance, liaise with the vessel's Chief Officer and the shipping agent, of loading cargo and stowage plan.
• Upon completion, dispatch the final EDI file to the Stowage Coordinator and the Vessel.
• Liaise with the Mainlines/Agents in making the Hot Connection of Transhipment boxes for effective and smooth second carrier connections.
• Instruct and liaise with terminal to give urgent hot connections to be loaded, ex-Mother
vessels, pre-plan and allocate space on vessels for second stowage for hot connections.
• Give feed back to Line Mangers of vessels inefficiencies for corrective action.
3) Terminal Operations
• Planning on the basis of last port ETD, update the terminal on vessel ETA/ETD draft and workable number of cranes/moves.
• Once the TDR is finalized and transmitted to the terminal, liaise with the Terminal
Planner to prepare the crane sequence couple with loading sequence to avoid gantry

productivity by identifying yard stack, transfer crane travelling, etc.
