Inspection
• Create drawings of ships and ship parts according to design specification
• Create docking plan for the incoming vessels
• Create building and warehouse construction plans.
• Onboard inspection and preparation of preliminary reports.
• Preparing work completion reports for invoicing purposes.
• Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environmental requirements of the yard is strictly followed.
• Inspection of jobs on-site and listing the material requirements.
• Planning daily manpower requirement, work schedule and delivery schedule.
• Co-ordinate resources, (operational and human) schedules and activities to effectively manage jobs.
• Implementing operational plans and developing work and project priorities.
• Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
• Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock; scheduling delivery.
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
• Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
• Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
• Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
• Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Design, Drafting, Planning, Procurement, Allocation, Execution, Inspection of Components of High & Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers & Panels.
• Assisting Design Department for drafting and analyzing drawings as per RDSO(Research Designs & Standards Organization) norms.
• Prioritizing and planning of work order in machine shop and auxiliary shop in accordance with assembly department.
• Procurement, inspection and maintaining the stock of raw materials to sustain the production according to the current production plan.
• Monitoring and execution of surface preparation and coating activities in auxiliary shop for specified components.
• Allocation and monitoring of manpower and machines in various shifts.
• General inspection of components according to specification and drawings.
• Preparation and maintaining of documents according to ISO Norms.
• Engineering assistance to R & D department for the development and modification of advanced machines, tools, innovative working and training procedures and eco-friendly waste management systems.
