Provide supervisory support subcontractor inspections. Reviews the Contract requirements, client requirements and prepares project quality documentation for approval by the client.
Responsible for FAT and SAT Material Inspections for all Disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical (Pumps, Valves, GRP, uPVC, HDPE pipes etc..), Electrical and Instrumentation.
Plans all inspection activities related to the project execution; co-ordinates with projects and vendors to follow up inspection and testing requirements as per the Project Quality Plan.
Implements Internal IMS audit as per schedule and follow up for the closing of observations and NCR’s if any and Facilitates and coordinates consultant / client and third party site audits.
Controls all non conformance reports, ensures approved corrective and preventive actions are been taken.
Providing QA/QC Support to QA/QC Engineer and to other departments- Sales, Proposals, Process Engr, Mechanical, E&I, Installation, Metito Factory, Ware Houses & other Overseas Offices.
Verifies that quality related site activities are in accordance with applicable specifications and standards and all quality control documentation is complied and completed for As-built handover.
Preparation and submission of monthly QA/QC Reports as per IMS and consultant / client requirements and shall include, as a minimum, Status of RFIs, list of outstanding QA/QC issues, status of CTI’s, internal and external NCR log.
Collects & prepares a analysis of Customer Feedbacks for the project.
• Reporting to Project Manager; and managing a QC team of 25+ members from Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and instrumentation.
• QC on installation and pre-commissioning of all mechanical equipments. (Screening, Sand and Grease trap, Pumps, Sedimentation tanks, Chlorine contact tank, belt press and anaerobic tanks)
• Installation of SCADA hand holes, OFC cable laying.
• Witness / Review of Trial Mix of approved Design mix at Ready Mix Plants and adequate testing.
• Testing and approval of backfilling materials and control on their frequency of testing at lab.
• Reviewing and approving the Project specific inspection and test plans (ITP’s).
• Material (Cement, Aggregates, steel, etc.)Testing and approval prior to the construction activities
• Massive Earth works, Backfilling, Plate load tests, Modified Proctor for MDD, FTD tests, Sieve Analysis etc…
• Quality control on Construction of Water, Sludge and Gas retaining RC Concrete structures with GRP and Epoxy internal lining and Testing.
• QC on Construction of 33KV Sub-Stations with Anti Static floor tiles, Roof water test and Plant Roads with signage.
• Continuous Quality Control on construction of Digester tanks using slip forms (24 hrs/Day) with lining works. (HDPE, GRP, Epoxy and Poly-urea)
• Water testing of RCC Water retaining structures (Filling-Stabilization-Testing) as per BS 8007.
• Creation, rectification and closing of Snag List with client and preparation, testing and handover of Dossiers.
• Conducting test on fresh and hardened concrete as per project specification, BS & ASTM codes.
(Temperature of Concrete, Slump Cone Test, Compressive Strength Test, Density, Water penetration, Chloride Iron Penetration)
• Tests of fine and coarse Aggregates. (Sieve Analysis, Clay Lumps, Clay Fineness, Silt Content, Flakiness, Elongation Index, Crushing Value, Impact Value, 10% Fineness Value etc.)
• Tests for Cement (Setting time, Compressive test, Fineness etc.)
• Mass RC concrete foundation with insulated forms & Thermo couples and table top concrete for Reactors.
• Underground facilities like AOC, SWOC, with GRP, GRE, HDPE materials and OFC networks with Duct banks.
• Updating the site memos, concession request, Material approval request, and technical query to have control on the inspection activity.
• Top feed Substations with fire rated doors (4hrs), office and control Buildings
• Pre-casted concrete Columns, Beams, Manholes, Chambers, Weirs and light poles and erection.
• Mass In-situ concrete foundation for Flare stack with embedded plates and Anchor bolts.
• Cast In-situ concrete socket foundations for pipe racks and different type of Grouting and testing.
• Earth works and in-situ tests at Laboratory as required and ensure the test procedures as per specification.
