1. To facilitate the work of voter registration and election officials by providing
transport, equipment, telephone and payments to field staff as well as technical
assistance on electoral matters, 2. Supervision, discipline, appraising, training and
development of staff in the office and those hired to work as field support staff
3.Coordinate all voter registration and election activities in Busia District including voter
registration, Voter education, boundaries demaction and collation of evidence in
electoral related cases, 4. Receiving, considering and determining claims as well as
receiving and forwarding objections to the Courts 5.Safeguarding and accounting to
stores, equipment, materials and other Commission's assets and 6. Compilation, ,
inspection and certification of the voters register
