Maintaining plant on site equipments such as furnaces, blowers, pumps, compressors, casting machine systems, pulverizer, Briquetting machine, etc.
Maintenance of 200 KVA, 320 KVA, 500 KVA Diesel Generators, 3 Ton & 7 Ton Forklifts, Boom loaders etc.
Ensuring periodical service of Generators, forklifts, compressor in due time.
Maintaining air pollution control systems such as ID fans, filter bag houses, air pulsing system and changing filter bags periodically.
Overseeing fabrication, installation, commissioning of new furnaces, APC pipes, casting machine and other new machineries.
Maintenance of fire fighting systems, spectro machine, Weigh scale & weigh bridge.
Planning and monitoring break down maintenance of furnaces in due period.
Procurement of hydraulic oil, transmission oil, Engine oil, spare parts, filters for forklifts & generators.
Procurement of furnace oil, diesel, electrical items, furnace equipments and other materials required for plant maintenance & new project works.
Maintaining inventory of maintenance spares, consumables, chemicals related to production.
Familiarity with Environmental& safety regulations related to plant .
Making AMC agreement for annual maintenance of fire fighting systems, spectro machine, Weigh scale & weigh bridges.
Liaising with EHS officials, AMC providers, vendors & free zone authorities.
Coordinating with management and government authorities for obtaining civil defense certificate, operation permit, Equipment safety certificate, First aid certificate, etc
Maintaining 5s activities in the plant.
Tasks involving fabrication, erection, testing of piping & structural activities in ship.
Conducting dry survey, air pressure test and hydro test of pipes & tanks.
Monitoring acid pickling & Flushing of pipes .
Working experience in Arc welding, Co2 MIG/MAG welding, TIG welding methods.
Knowledge in all types of welding procedures & brazing techniques.
Liaising with QC, 3rd party, Production Mangers & higher level project management team.
Basic knowledge in standards like ASME, ASTM, ANSI standards& IRS rules etc.
Making Project plan and distributing to section heads.
Following up of daily, weekly, monthly job cards & calculating man-hours to ensure the productivity.
Monitoring the project as per Plan / schedule.
Liaising with HSE department for HIRA & CAPA to avoid hazards.
Liaising with Supervisors/Engineers to ensure proper utilization of Manpower & Materials by using available resources.
