KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Network Planning
• Support and assist Sales and project team on technical aspects during technical proposal,
Solution presentations.
• Perform feasibility studies through site survey, preparation of reports and coordinating to prepare for project implementation
• Preparation of High level network design with network topology to meet the customer
requirements
• Preparation of Low level design including IP network design, signaling network design
• Preparation of network expansion plan/ upgrade plans
Involved for planning of IMS networks, NGN networks, GU PS domain networks & EPC
• Installation & Commissioning of Telecommunication Networks
• Support for hardware installation of NGN, IMS, PS, EPC products and coordination between various parties to reach the project objectives and timelines.
• Installation, commissioning of NGN Soft Switch, MGWs, Media servers, bill servers, SBCs
etc
• Installation, commissioning of IMS core network which includes
CSCF/MRC/MRP/HSS/MGCF/AGCF/IM-MGW/Provisioning system/ O&M systems and
SIP application servers
• Installation, commissioning of PS core network which includes GGSN/ DPI/ SGSN / PCRF
/CG etc
• Test of EPC Network which includes MME/ HSS/ S-GW/ P-GW/ PCRF etc.
• Installation, commissioning of network management systems ( NMS)
• Involved for capacity expansion and new installation of integrated access gateways ( AG) in fixed NGN networks \[ Huawei UA5000\]
• Installation, commissioning of data communication equipments which include layer2/leyer3
LAN Switches, Huawei routers, Huawei Firewalls.
• Acceptance of equipments
• Preparation of acceptance test lists, acceptance criteria for the Equipment and technologies
• Perform the acceptance test with the customer
• Troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, training while acceptance
• Maintenance of the Core Network equipments
• Performing the regular health checks on the Core network equipments
• Attend to the fault cases, troubleshooting and solving of the issues within SLA
• Working together with customer, upper level technical support teams for the smooth running of the systems and to solve the technical problems in the equipments
• Respond to frequent technical queries relate to NGN, IMS, PS, EPC equipments, technology and the system.
• Perform routine checks and Software management by software update / upgrades.
• Preparation of reports relate the equipments and maintaining a best relationship with customer
• Sharing the knowledge on the systems and the technology to the customer and to the team
members
