Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Represent the organization locally in terms of programs
• Planning project activities, Implementing Monitoring and Evaluation
• Facilitate the preparation and submission of reports to the pertinent stake holders
• Develop good working relations with partners, with stake holders and staff
• Fund raising
• Supervising the effective Implementation of programs in Head Office and Field Office
• Plan, organize, coordinate, control and evaluate the organization overall projects
• Recruit, deploy, field project officers and evaluate performance of personnel
• Organize and conduct staff trainings
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports
• Frequent field visiting and evaluation of work progress
• Empowering Communities & destitute groups
• Undertake need assessment of target community
• Coordinating the programs including Livelihood programs, HIV AIDS Programs, OVC Support, Adult Youth Reproductive Health/AYRH/ programs Community Empowerment development program
• Conduct a survey on the socioeconomic situation of destitute house holds
• Establish concepts, standards & principles of family empowerment program
• Design, implement and ensure participatory evaluation of the pilot project
• Establish large scale family empowerment program
• Prepare Annual training plan
• Redesign the Life Skill training for Destitute Women
• Manage & organize the technical and supportive staff and the budget as well.
• Facilitated procurement of fixed and recurrent assets for the training
• Evaluate the training fields in terms of creating employment for the respective graduates.
• Monitor & evaluate the process of training
• Conduct descriptive and evaluative studies concerning the training program in general and employment opportunities in particular.
• Ensure market placement of the graduates in respective of their market interests.
