-Managing a team of engineers and technicians to execute electrical distribution projects for Govt.& private clients.
- Search, list &subcontract professional vendors & service providers .
- Issue Purchase Orders & contracts .
-Follow up the invoices & payments.
- Monitor Safety requirements
- Working with Oman utilities ( Mazoon)
-Carrying-out switching operations of circuits, and issuing/canceling safety documents as per KAHRAMA’A safety rules and SOMs
-Ensuring that maintenance and breakdown repair works are carried-out by Cable crew and contractors personnel in accordance with the
Maintenance Code of Practice, and be completed on time.
-Carrying-out all types of test on 11, 33, 66, 132, 220, 400 KV cables.
-Coordinating with organization concern regarding Project and Road development works affecting cable routes and make site visits to ensure the pre-agreed processes.
-Issuing documents to Contractors working within UG Cables routes.
-Any Other related duties as needed upon request by the Sr.Engineer Cables.
Work closely with the Project Manager to manage and supervise all the works related to installation of 110 KV HV cables including but not limited to the following:
-Preparing the site including the site office and its facilities.
-Assist in reviewing QC/QA documents with the QA/QC Engineer.
-Assist in the project management duties (Budgeting, Cash flow etc...).
-Preparing Request For Inspection, RFI and Request for Material Inspection, RMI documents.
-Assist in preparing material submittals to the client (Saudi Electricity Co)
-Liaise with consultant representative to approve the works .
-Liaise with owner representative to ensure the required specifications.
-Liaise with suppliers .
-Liaise with subcontracting staff.
-Liaise with local municipals and local utilities.
-Choosing the appropriate cable route.
-Checking the technical drawings (Key Plane, Schematic diagram etc.. )
-Excavation and cable laying.
-Installation of FO ducts.
-Cable systems testing.
-Back-filling as per required.
-Taking approval and invoicing.
-Testing of Protection relays from different brands(Siemens, ABB, GE . etc)
-Troubleshooting of protection circuits .
-Setup and programming of protection relays.
-Good knowledge of communication protocols such as: DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850
Managing and supervising of:
-Erection of 11 and 66 KV UG cables as a representative of the owner (EETC).
-Erection of new transformers' cables and terminations.
-Testing of medium and high voltage cables.
-Maintenance and laying of 11 KV, 22 KV and 66 KV XLPE underground cables including jointing and
termination.
-Maintenance of oil filled 66 KV underground cables.
-Good Knowledge of the following standards:
IEC 60840, IEC 60287, IEC 60183, IEC 60502
- maintenance of overhead transmission lines OHTL of different voltage levels including conductors'
jointing, faulted insulators' replacement, structure inspection and maintenance, accessories inspection
and maintenance -including infrared inspection of hot points - etc...
-Hot washing of OHTL (live circuits).
I have obtained a PG diploma in automation engineering with emphasis on Process Control,PLCs ,SCADA ,Data Communication after 30 credit hours.
I have been graduated at Faculty of Engineering . Cairo University Department of electrical power and machines, with the following core courses: -Power Systems -Electrical Machines -power Electronics -High Voltage -Protection -Control Engineering -Measurements and Process Control
