As a Program Manager responsible for creating team from ground up, competency building in processes, systems & analytics, hiring talented resources with functional and technical skills, and accountable for growing revenue and overall delivery. Some of key capabilities and projects delivered:
• Custom development for warehouse process improvement, automation equipment integration, propriety accelerator tools for automated testing,

• Implementation of large-scale warehouse automation for one of the largest FMCG company in India as a Program Manager/SME role:
- Creation of overall warehouse automation strategy and business case for Integrated Consumer Goods Manufacturing and Logistics warehouses
- Scorecard based evaluation of top 3 selected vendors for both software and machinery, and recommendations to leadership group
- Leading the design sessions with Blue Yonder, Muratec, Bastion and SAP teams for custom development, configuration and implementation
- Aligning business processes and BY WMS to deliver complex custom modifications such as factory pallet receiving using dedicated conveyors
and palletizers, replenishment and deplenishment to/from case and each storage zones from ASRS based on daily order volumes, case loading,
load drop, WCS integration etc.
- Led IT architecture roadmap and infrastructure build based on specifications from vendors for hardware servers, routers, access points,
firewall, and load balancer which conforms to internal IT policies
- Providing thought leadership during design, construct, testing, cutover and business continuity planning sessions
- Defining cutover strategy, SIT, UAT & performance testing framework, rollout and support roadmap
• Design and development of Rapid Rollout Tool for BY WMS/WLM implementation at 70+ warehouses of largest berries grower/supplier in
americas in a Solution Architect role:
- Creation of warehouse configuration templates based on complexity (Large/Packaging/Cross Dock)
- Development of Copy, Export, Import and Compare configuration tools to expedite new warehouse onboarding on BY WMS platform
- Defining framework for configuration migration across dev, test, stage and production environment
- Implemented rapid rollout strategy for seamless migration of BY WMS configuration on BY cloud
• Transition of cWMS software to ITC Infotech for feature development, implementation, and support for 3rd largest online US retailor specializing
in television marketing in Product Owner role:
- Demonstrating domain and technologies capabilities during RFQ and proposal defense with client
- Building dedicated team of full stack developers with AWS experience and domain experts to take over inhouse custom built WMS software
- Reverse engineering of all critical micro services with developers to create knowledge repository due to lack of documentation from client
- Leading review meetings with client leadership team on progress, risks and overall health of program
- Defining product vision and roadmap, process improvement along with distribution business stakeholders
- Thought leadership during feature development, backlog grooming, and sprint planning process
Responsible for driving the end-to-end Warehouse Management domain capability of the CPG & Retail vertical by engaging with existing and new businesses, develop and drive warehousing competency, and help design and align effective WMS service offerings for clients
● Providing thought leadership for development of connected warehouse
solution to enable omni-channel fulfillment on legacy WMS such as PKMS,
MARC, Denver etc.
● Lead the stabilization of Red Prairie WMS implementation for one of the
largest jeans and apparel company by identifying integration issues with
WMS-WCS and streamlining operations
● Engaging with Presales team develop value proposition for RFP in distribution
space by understanding prospective client business and current pain points
● Building WMS competency by introducing score matrix for consultants based
on functional and product expertise as well as behavioral aspects
● Working closely with consultants by guiding and mentoring them by sharing
experience and domain knowledge
● In the role of Sr. Product Owner role for Retalix-10 Store Tills team, working
with UK store innovation team and developing feature definition and
development roadmap
- Product management of customizations required for a new store till
software which is pivotal to delivering the Multi & Omni channel Retail
capability
- Lead the design & development effort to introduce Mobile POS in UK
Hyper stores integrated with Retalix10 platform
- Successfully piloted RFID capability with Nedap for in store clothing section
by integrating Nedap RFID reader with inventory module in Retalix till
software
- Leading customization required for Delivered by Tesco project for
integrating UK Groceries and General Merchandising customer delivery
using Tesco store trucks for providing last mile connectivity
- Guiding and Mentoring business/functional analysts and testing resources
● As the Deployment Analyst assigned to Tesco Homeplus in Korea, I was
responsible for delivering Phase 2 of operating model at Homeplus, Korea
- Delivered successful Bing Bang rollout of JDA Space, Range and Display
suite implementation, the first in Tesco footprint
- Configuring JDA Floor planning, Planogram, Oracle RPAS systems to
implement global operating model
- Training and competency building of SRD team on new systems and change
management with business stakeholders
- Defining cutover strategy and contingency plans by working closely with
business stakeholders and managing in country IT resources and service
introduction to HSC support
- Accountable for creating & delivery for online training of 300+ SRD
resources built on Datango platform using local vendor
- Implemented GMIS reporting for Space Range Display operating model for
better range insight & control in stores
● As a Deployment Analyst & Subject Matter Expert with International
operations development, I was responsible for defining best practices,
optimization and implementation of Tesco Operating Model
- Implemented ORWMS at Tesco group countries following best practices,
optimal system configuration, warehouse layout design, product slotting,
selection of suitable picking and putaway strategies, and integration with
dematic voice picking system
- Lead the solution design to bridge gaps between WMS and TMS for
effective offshore centralized UK distribution planning and execution
- Creation and Evaluation of RFP during vendor selection for a new transport
planning and tracking software for the Tesco Group Countries and
successfully piloted in Tesco Thailand. I was also instrumental in integration
of ORWMS with Ortec TMS and Microlise Tracking software.
- Building Distribution and Transportation knowledge capability in Tesco
HSC through training and coaching of business analysts and
testing/support resources
I was responsible for implementation of MARC WMS at clients such as Flextronics, McLane Logistics, Genco 3PL and Maruti-Suzuki in the role of Project Manager/Sr. Consultant,
● Advising business stakeholders on process improvement and changes required for optimum utilization of MARC WMS
● Managed implementation of MARC WMS in Flextronics warehouses in Netherland, Poland and Singapore warehouse using technical and testing resources based out of India
● Implemented MARC 9.2 in Flextronics at Louisville and Memphis warehouses and developing custom modules for Kitting, reverse logistics and quality control
● Upgraded Maclane Do Brazil distribution centers to Marc 9.2 and improved warehouse efficiency by implementing task interleaving and cluster picking
● Migrated Maruti Suzuki parts distribution center from MARC paper-based operation to RF driven operations, introduction of flex location concept, and working closing with RF vendor during installation of RF infrastructure
● Manage design and development of the Graphical Yard Management, and integration layer in eBiznet WMS
● Developed configurable hand held (RF) capability for the eBiznet WMS for satellite warehouses of Genco 3PL
In Technical Consultant role specializing in WMS systems, I was responsible for installation and customization of various modules according to specification documents. The WMS systems implemented were Tier-1 WMS companies such as HK Systems, EXE technologies, LIS Systems. Some of the key capabilities delivered were:
● Developed Interfaces for the LIS Dispatcher WMS in order to connect to the Pick-To-Light System (PTL) using C and HP-UX sockets at Bosch & Lamb
● Developed the Labor Standards Tracking Module for LIS Dispatcher, modifying the WMS to map reference coordinates for locations, standard task completion time for different types of tasks based upon UOM, elapsed time and task complete time for Armstrong Warehousing to implement activity based billing
● Developed interfaces to integrate HK-WMS with the palletizers for Mobiles Oil. These palletizers on production floor were integrated with the receiving module
● Lead L-3 support for Nestle, Estee Lauder, Exxon Mobile and Saint Gobain for any HK-WMS issue resolution and customizations
● Implemented Infor-EXE WMS at Hayvee Grocers as a technical consultant and developed custom performance and productivity reports
As a Software Engineer, I was responsible for the development of technical design specifications for order entry, unloading, receiving, shipping and loading for a paper, RF, and EDI based environment for Fourgen Enterprise 6.1. I was involved in the gathering of user requirements through JAD sessions with GE supply business analysts for order entry, unloading, receiving, shipping, loading, exception processing and freight estimation for Fourgen Enterprise 6.1. Also, I was instrumental in the development of interfaces to integrate Kitmat Transport Management Systems (KTMS) with various modules in Fourgen Enterprise 5.1.
