• Advise and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical environments.
• Provide leadership, guidance, support and supervision to the section staff and take responsibility in the day to day operation of the clinics.
• Meeting with senior health service staff or other managers to exchange findings.
• Discussing and solving problems with manufacture, quality, purchasing and marketing departments.
• Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
• Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and documented.
• Provide engineering and technical expertise on all matters related to medical technology, especially in the process of planning, review, evaluation, and specification of medical equipment.
• Install, adjust, maintain, and/or repair biomedical equipment. Evaluate, negotiate and manage service contracts.
• Develop and provide a comprehensive in-service education program on the safe and effective use of medical equipment for both medical and nursing staff.
• Advise hospital administrators on the planning, acquisition, and use of medical equipment.
• Minimize, investigate and rectify hazard risks associated with medical equipment use.

Graduation Project: Design of Defibrillator with ECG, We use four batteries to supply transformer and supply relay circuit .We use two microcontrollers one for the character LCD and the other for the graphical LCD. We use five transformers each one output 400V. We used capacitor bank with ten capacitors which charge in parallel and discharge in series to achieve function of defibrillator with ECG which is delivering an electric shock to the heart through the chest wall. This shock helps restore the heart to a regular, healthy rhythm.
