• Advising clients on different tax issues regarding direct and indirect taxes and duties in various industries including trading, oil & gas and telecommunication
• Advising several companies on how to set up presence in Lebanon in a tax efficient manner

• Getting involved in due diligence exercises that include tax due diligence for major local and foreign trading companies and banks, in close cross-functional coordination (legal & financial)
• Developing expertise in tax consulting domains such as payroll (payroll compilation, payroll tax, social security), stamp duty and municipality tax
• Assisting in several client tax reviews including HR reviews, VAT reviews and VAT mapping
• Preparing VAT returns for several clients including major telecom providers
• Managing corporate income tax returns for major local and multinational companies; in addition to financial institutions

Achievements:
• Assisted in drafting the GCC VAT common legal framework
• Led and handled the full bookkeeping of a multinational onshore &offshore apparel company. Assisted in the audit process and handled the monthly financial reporting on the company based system. Also assisted in the tax audits of the company and the restructuring of the group
• Led and handled one of the major new key client by conducting an HR review, a VAT mapping, drafting ATRs, preparing and amending tax returns, and became the key contact for the client
• Managed the continuous tax issues of a regional telecom operator across the African continent, post its acquisition by a third party
• Shortlisted (1 out of 3 finalists) among 23 worldwide PwC candidates for a 6 months assignment at the World Bank in Washington DC to work on the global “paying taxes” handbook
• Selected to represent PwC at the Women in Business forum, organized by AIWF & PwC
